Biography
Julia Gari Weiss is the author of the poetry book Being Human, published by Thought Catalog Books. She received her MFA in creative writing from Sarah Lawrence College and is the recipient of the Academy of American Poet’s John B. Santoianni Award for Excellence in Poetry. Julia has been published in The Huffington Post, BuzzFeed, Thought Catalog, The Australian Women's Weekly, mapcap review, Old Red Kimono, The Indianapolis Review, and more. She is proudly from Santa Monica, Ca and currently lives in Chicago, IL.
